Delete your account

Last updated: October 29, 2026

This page explains how to delete your Withdrawal Timelines community forum account and the data that goes with it. It applies to the website and to our Android app, which shows the same website and uses the same accounts.

There is no delete button yet. The forum doesn’t currently let you delete your own account. Instead you send us a request through the contact page and we delete the account by hand, using the steps below.

How to ask us to delete your account

  1. Open our contact page.
  2. Under “Your email”, enter the email address on your forum account.
  3. In the message, write “Delete my account”, your forum username, and whether you want your forum posts deleted or kept without your name (see below). If you don’t say, we will delete them.
  4. Send the form. If the email you used doesn’t match the account, or we need to check that the request is really from you, we’ll email the address on the account first and wait for your reply before deleting anything.

We aim to complete requests within 30 days and will email you when it’s done. You don’t need an account or a login to make a request.

What we delete

What we can’t delete

Changing things yourself without deleting

Quit tracker, calculator and app data

Your quit tracker entries, calculator picks, date-picker dates and light or dark setting are stored only on your device. They are not linked to your forum account and we never receive them, so we can’t delete them for you. You can delete them yourself:

For everything else we collect and how long we keep it, see our Privacy Policy.
